| The woman is Carolyn Schuster who drove down from Columbus Indiana to walk for a while out of Seymour. I've known Carolyn for 15 years. It was good to see her again and I really appreciate her taking the time to participate in the walk. | |

| Casey and I were standing along the Highway trying to figure out the best way for Casey to get back to the hotel in Browntown, Indiana. This guy was kind enough to give him a ride. His name is Rom Warbaum. He passed us on the road, turned around and came back and offered us a ride. It's people like this that make you feel we are all on the same team. | |

| On the motorcycle is Roger Wlker of the Last Patrol. He lives and Illinois and walked out of Kirkwood with me on day 1. He and his wife Sandy, who has her own motorcycle, really helped me on the second days as far as getting back to the staring point and picking me up at days end and getting me back to metro link which was my ride home that night, | |

| Day 2 Ofallon, IL. The man in the Uncle Sam's uniform is George Stallings. I'll tell you the story about him in a second. Anyway, half way through day two I was looking for some kind of sign to assure my self that I was not crazy and that I was going to make the entire trip.. All of a sudden in O’Fallon, Ill. I am in front of the palm readers shop. Needless to say, $15.00 later I was on the road again. | |
